Turkish divers thought a woman was drowning in the Black Sea but when they went to her rescue they pulled something unexpected out of the water – a blow-up sex doll.
The beach-goers who raised the alarm had got it wrong and called the emergency services thinking a woman was going under, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
Within minutes police cordoned off the scene and a rescue operation launched. Having sealed off a wide section of the beach, officers in the northern Samsun province sent a team of divers into the water.
But the team quickly discovered the embarrassing truth.
