“On The Road” will kick start the annual event Thursday night.
“Kristen is worried because it opens the festival, a lot is expected of it and just prays that it’s well received. She is trying to find some inner peace within herself,” said a source.
Stewart, who had an affair with director Rupert Sanders behind beau Robert Pattinson’s back, is nervous about her first red carpet appearance since her cheating scandal and hopes her personal life doesn’t overshadow how the film is received by the critics, reports radaronline.com.
“Kristen Stewart hasn’t been able to get a wink of sleep in the run-up to the film festival,” a source revealed.
Even though members of the media have been strictly told that questions about her cheating scandal are off-limits, she’s been fretting over the film’s premiere,” said a source.
“She really hopes that the critics are kind to her when it comes to the reviews and they don’t judge her on her personal life,” added the source.
“On the Road” is very close to Stewart’s heart. She is a big fan of the original novel by Jack Kerouac and wants the movie to get the praise she thinks it deserves.
Pattinson’s sisters hate Stewart
Robert Pattinson’s sisters won’t be happy if the actor gets back to ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart who cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders.
Both Lizzy and Victoria Pattinson have warned their brother of the old adage, “once a cheater, always a cheater” telling him he would be foolish to let Stewart back into his life, reports radaronline.com.
“Robert’s sisters were fuming with Kristen for hurting their brother in the way she did,” said a source.
“Lizzy and Victoria feel terrible for heartbroken Robert, especially because of the embarrassment that was caused by the manner in which the affair was exposed. They’ve told him that there’s no way he can take Kristen back after what she did to him. They will kill him if he gets back with Kristen,” the source added.
