Diplomatically Incorrect – Iran

In the last years, months, weeks, days Iran is in the international spotlight regarding its nuclear program which is either peaceful or serves military purposes or both. Now, I’d like to reshuffle the cards and see different point of views, angles of the story. Of course I have my own opinion which will be disclosed in the end of this article.

Let’s be neutral: I think every country has the right to use nuclear energy or defend itself from threats to get ready to a nuclear attack which could destroy the country and its citizens. We can’t decline this right since the World uses nuclear energy on diferent ways: reactors, submarines, research, medical use and weapons. So Iran can use nuclear energy and develope its own defense system which can include nuclear warheads. Just like other countries: US,India,China,Russia,Pakistan,France,UK etc.

Pro Iran: Iran is the stronghold of Islam but it doesn’t mean it’s a terrorist state or the enemy of the West. Ahmadinejad uses strong words but who doesn’t nowadays? Take a look at the US media.. Iran is mad at Israel and denies it’s rights to exist. In some ways Tehran is right.. Why? Because Israel denies the right of Palestinians to have their own country. If Israel can do this so can Iran. Nuclear threat? Who has the  biggest ammounts of nuclear weapons? The Unites States.. Who used nuclear weapons? The United States. Who is a threat? The United states.

Anti Iran: Since Tehran is the stronghold of Islam and particularly radical Islam, it means a threat to the Western world and Israel. Supporting terrorists, arming Syria and terrorists. Denying Holocaust and the right of Israel to exist. You can argue with me who has nuclear weapons and who used them. But you can’t deny the fact that Iran would be the first who’d push that ‘button’ first. Ahmadinejad is insane, so does the Supreme Leader. If they have the chance they would attack Israel and the West imediately. Directly or via terrorist groups or cells.. With plutonium, uranium and other radioactive substances they can arm a whole terrorist network.

I think their nuclear program is peaceful but in the same time it’s for military purposes too. I have no evidence in my hand, just the reports around the globe and some facts. Like secret nuclear facilities, IAEA can’t access nuclear sites or at least not all of them. And the fact that the leaders of Iran repeatedly said that they would destroy the Zionist state of Israel and Western values.

There are 2 options on the table:

1. Iran must let IAEA experts to visit every single nuclear sites to prove that they are using nuclear energy on a peaceful way. And if they not, they must stop the military programs.

2. We (I mean the West) must use every necessary tools to find out if there’s a nuclear threat and if the answer is yes, then we must act immediately and solve the problem but without a war. The region, taxpayers, cizizens can’t handle another 11 year long killing factory which might involve nuclear weapons or other Weapons of Mass Destrucion.

We need to be cautios. Iran is a bomb – ready to explode. We need to cut the right wire in time.
